FedEx® Electronic Trade Documents must be enabled before customs documents can be submitted electronically. Select the FedEx® technology solution you use most frequently for your international shipments, or the solution that best meets your needs.

With FedEx Ship Manager at fedex.com, you can get started in just three easy steps:
Step 1: Log in to FedEx Ship Manager at fedex.com and click on "Preferences" above Billing Details.
Step 2: In the International Preferences section, check the box to "Enable Electronic Trade Documents". Click ‘I agree’ on the terms and conditions; you will only have to do this once.

Contact your FedEx account executive to enable FedEx Electronic Trade Documents, or go to the FedEx Developer Resource Center for more information.
Step 1: Log in to the FedEx Developer Resource Center.
Step 2: Select the FedEx Web Services for Shipping section.
Step 3: Go to "Get Started".
Step 4: Download "FedEx® Electronic Trade Documents Guide" located under the Upload Document Service section. Follow the detailed instructions on how to start using FedEx® Electronic Trade Documents.
Step 5: Select the sample code of your choice between C#, VB.Net, Java, and PHP or you can start coding according to the WSDL.
