Special Requirements for Importing Certain Food Products from Japan
Following the accident at the Fukushima nuclear power station, several countries are implementing radiation checks for certain food products imported from Japan. Some countries may also require a specific declaration and additional documentation prior to the arrival of shipments.
Importers of Japanese goods and shippers in Japan are urged to review the sites below and note the required documentation in order to avoid any shipment delays.
