FedEx is recruiting!
As our international express shipping business continues to grow, FedEx is recruiting for new positions across Europe.
Recruitment by FedEx for its European hub at Charles de Gaulle Airport in France continues apace: FedEx recruited for 333 new jobs there over 2005. In 2006, we plan to fill a further 280 new positions. These are mostly goods handlers, couriers and operations managers.
In Belgium we have over 15 positions to fill, mostly for the IT, Finance and Sales & Marketing departments, but we are also recruiting parttime and fulltime couriers.
This expansion and recruitment in Belgium and across Europe is compelling evidence of our growth and success.
Importantly, this re-confirms our ambition to serve our customers with the highest standards. Putting additional resource in place is necessary to enable our operations to continue providing the high level of service that you have come to expect from FedEx.
There are various principles that underpin our recruitment and people development. These include recruiting from the local population, partnerships, diversity, training and personal development. And of course our People-Service-Profit philosophy, aimed at delivering the best service to customers.
As a result of promoting equal opportunity and diversity in recruitment, the FedEx workforce includes people of various origins and nationalities at every level and in every sector.
FedEx attaches great importance to the training and development of its staff. We place the highest priority on internal promotion and the development of their careers, and provide the highest standards of training.
But don't just take our word for it. FedEx Belgium has been rated among the top 10 of Best Employers in Belgium in 2005 and 2006. In addition, FedEx Belgium was listed on the European Top 100 of Greatest Places to Work in 2005. And just recently FedEx Belgium was awarded with the Diversity Award 2006 from the Great Place to Work-institute for its commitment to diversity.
Visit biac.be or monster.be and search on FedEx to find more information on the job openings.
