Printable Version Rely On FedEx To Get Your Shipments Delivered On Time Throughout The Holiday Season
As every year since 1973, FedEx teams around the world – more than 290,000 people - will be working together to ensure that all your shipments arrive safely and on time right throughout the busy Christmas and New Year period.
Between the last week of November and Christmas, FedEx forecasts that more than 260 million shipments will move through its worldwide shipping networks. This is a 12% increase for the holiday season over the same period last year when 232 million shipments were processed.
As far as the Europe, Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa region (EMEA) is concerned, we expect that the busiest day for shipments going out of the region will be Tuesday, December 20th (an increase of 2.3% over last year), while for shipments coming into the region it will be Monday December 19th (up by 3.5% from 2010).
