FedEx helps deliver cheer to children and families who need it most through our annual national holiday drive in support of the Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness (CCAA).

More than 2,000 employees representing all FedEx operating companies have participated in this event since 2005, donating thousands of items such as gift certificates, toys, games and personal care items that are distributed to local shelters and social service agencies to benefit abused children and their families. In conjunction with the national holiday drive, FedEx deploys a specially decorated vehicle in the Greater Toronto Area to support the Q107 Classic Rock Derringer's 13 Days of Christmas radio campaign (annually, December 1 to 13) to benefit CCAA. During this campaign, the public are invited to drop off their donations at participating GTA FedEx Kinko'sTM locations.

Other events we have organized for CCAA included a movie drive and a Mother's Day spa day/makeover for women in shelters.

The Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness for the prevention of child abuse and adult victimization was established in 1993 to assist Canadians affected by the life-long trauma of abuse and to educate the public about the detrimental role abuse plays in our society.
