How to select the FedEx Ground Brokerage-Inclusive Service
This option is currently available at FedEx Ship Manager™ at fedex.ca, our online shipping solution. We’ve highlighted some important steps below.
A: Package and Shipment Details
For the Service Type, choose FedEx International Ground and then enter the Total Customs Value (required by customs officials for possible assessment of duties and taxes).
B: Billing Details
You will also have the option to bill both the transportation charges and the duties & taxes to the sender, recipient or third party.
C: Special Services Section (Optional)
Unless you select a broker using the Broker-Select Option, FedEx Ground will arrange for the clearance of your shipment and applicable charges will be reflected on your transportation invoice.
D: Rate and Transit Times (Optional)
If the brokerage-inclusive service is accepted, the clearance entry fee will be included in the courtesy rate quote.
