FedEx Couriers Go Smart and Comfy in Their New Uniforms

Bangkok July 30, 2001 - FedEx, the world's largest air express transportation company, recently started using a new uniform in Thailand. The new uniform is a global model worn by FedEx couriers in the US. With FedEx shorts and shirt uniform, Thai couriers are guaranteed to work more comfortably while driving and distributing packages to the clients door to door. Apart from its appropriateness in Thailand's hot and humid weather, the design of the new uniform is also suitable to wear in flooded areas in Bangkok during the rainy season.

FedEx provides the couriers an alternative to wear shorts or pants according to their preference and opportunity. The former uniform, in pants will still be used in case of delivering packages to government offices or formal setting. Therefore, the couriers can still perform their tasks following FedEx efforts to integrate with Thai society. FedEx clients will see FedEx couriers in their new look as from now.
