New station brings higher efficiency and quality service to customers in Taiwan
Taipei, December 21, 1998—Federal Express Corporation(FedEx), the world's largest air express transportation company, today announced the official opening of the new Taoyuan station. With a higher capacity, the new station replaces the existing station in Taoyuan.
The new station attains an even higher level of service and equipment standards and is fully integrated into the FedEx system worldwide. It features 24-hour customer services lines, 24-hour security system and is connected to COSMOS, FedEx's vast online computer network for tracking packages and storing vital customer information.

Located at No.1, Lane 2, Nei- hsin Rd., Lu-chu Hsiang, the new station's capacity is four times that of the old station, and can now handle a daily maximum capacity of 4,000 packages, with a 40-van capacity in a warehouse space of 10,000 square meters. The relocation and expansion of FedEx's Taoyuan service station provides our customers with greater value, and helps to accommodate the growth in the Taoyuan area.
