FedEx licensee recognized for quality management system
JAKARTA, April, 1999 - PT Repex Perdana International (Repex),
the Indonesia licensee of Federal Express (FedEx), the world's largest
express transportation company, today received its certificate of
ISO-9002 status.
The Switzerland-based certification body, SGS, conducted audits
of Repex's operations over a six-month period before certifying
the quality management systems at Repex. With these systems, Repex
now uses the same systems to manage service quality that FedEx uses
in its global operations.
Mr. Harsha Joesoef, President Director of PT Repex Perdana International,
said, "I have been dedicated to developing a domestic/national express
transportation organization, both in quality of operations and people.
ISO-9002 certification shows our commitment to those goals."
FedEx first received ISO-9001 worldwide certification in 1994 on
a world-wide basis and then re-certified in 1997.

in Indonesia."
