Welcome to the FedEx Exhibitor and Visitor Information Center for the BASELWORLD 2012! FedEx is delighted once again to be an official provider of express transport services to the BASELWORLD 2012, and we hope to be of service to you with your domestic, import or export shipments.

Where – how – when
To make international shipping easier, FedEx has two shipping points within the exhibition halls and will deliver and pick-up your international shipments to and from anywhere within the exhibition grounds.
- Hall 1.2 Business Centre
Opening hours: 8.30am - 6.30pm (8 to 15 March, 2012)
- Hall 6.0 gamma O30
Opening hours: 8.30am - 6.30pm (8 to 14 March, 2012) / 8.30am - 4.30pm (15 March, 2012)
Fast, punctual delivery to BASELWORLD from all over the world
We are happy to take care of your international express and domestic shipments arriving at BASELWORLD 2012. In order to proceed with your shipments, please consider the following points.
In general:
Only shipments with Broker Select Option and addressed to one of the following brokers can be accepted (Please contact the broker beforehand in order to set up an agreement on the billing of the broker’s procedural fees (clearance and special handling):

Without prior approval in place, the broker will refuse the shipment and we won’t be able to deliver it to your recipient.

For shipments with a value up to USD 4.000:
We can offer you definitive customs clearance at Basle (BSL) airport with billing of the applicable Duties and Taxes (D&T) to the shipper (total D&T amount is below or equal to the broker’s procedural fees). D&T amount is not refundable.
Cites goods have to be forward to a broker at the Fair, No FedEx clearance is possible
If you want to take advantage of this procedure, please supply the following information:
- on the AWB:
- on the proforma invoice the following must be clearly stated: “Clearance at BSL airport, D&T to be charged to shipper”.

- Payment options: Your FedEx account number or Credit Card.
Domestic shipments
- Paperwork for your domestic shipment will be prepared at our booth onsite. Please have this information handy.
- Payment options: valid Swiss FedEx account number or Credit Card.
