Aiming for Service Enhancement and Environmental Protection
Effective from January 4, 2010, FedEx will operate its new Boeing 777 Freighters (777F) to serve the trans-pacific lanes originating from Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The 777F will replace the MD-11 freighters and will further meet rapid growth in the China region and customers’ growing business demands.
The launch of 777F will not only enhance our service quality, but also reduce emissions. As one of the world's largest express transportation companies, FedEx provides fast and reliable services, while keeping the environment in mind as a commitment to China and customers.
Thanks to the aircraft’s increased capabilities, the same day cut-off time for trans-pacific shipments from designated areas of Shanghai, Kunshan and Suzhou will be extended#, details as follows:
- Origins: Designated areas of Shanghai, Kunshan and Suzhou*
- Destinations: North America and Latin America**
- Service Type: FedEx International Priority (IP) and FedEx International Economy (IE)
- Declaration Type: Informal entry shipment, including documents, free samples and advertisement materials
- Call-in cut-off time: From Monday to Friday, the cut-off time for same day Out Bound (OB) shipments will be extended by up to 2 hours#
- Drop-off cut-off time: From Monday to Friday, the cut-off time for same day OB shipments will be extended by up to 2 hours#. Please refer to the following sheet for more details:
