Temporary Station Relocation in Kunshan

In order to improve your shipping experience, the KNCA station will close for renovation on January 21, 2018. Starting January 22, 2018, the KNCA operations team will offer its regular FedEx service offering at the temporary location listed below – service will not be impacted. Please note that if you wish to pick up or drop off a package, you will need to go to the below station.

Service Update for 2017 BRICS Summit in Xiamen China

To ensure the success of the 2017 BRICS Summit, which will take place in Xiamen September 3 - 5, the national and municipal governments will implement a series of security measures in the run-up to and during the BRICS Summit that impact express shipments. The state and local governments will be enforcing precautionary measures for express shipments in the Xiamen government-controlled area1. The current service changes are as follows:

  • FedEx International Service:

      Outbound (OB) Shipments

    • Aug 18 - Sep 6: Same-day service will be suspended in Xiamen.

    • Aug 18 - Sep 6: Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Quanzhou, Putian and Fuzhou do not accept the following items:

      "Small, low, slow" aircraft, batteries, liquids, powder, chemical products, battery items (including mobile phones, notebooks, IPad), magnetic items, whether or not there are "non-dangerous proof” issued by Dangerous Goods Management (DGM) and other authorities;

    • Aug 18-Sep 6: Only offer drop-off service for Quanzhou and Putian cash payment shipments, the drop-off station is JJNA.

    • Aug 24 - Sep 5: There will be a 1-3 day delivery delay for shipments originating from Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Quanzhou and Putian.

    • Inbound (IB) Shipments

    • Aug 24 - Sep 6: Only HAL service is available in Xiamen and Zhangzhou (XMNA). There is no delivery service.

    • Aug 24 - Sep 6: There will be a 1-3 day delivery delay for shipments to Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Quanzhou and Putian.

  • FedEx Domestic Service:

    • Aug 18 - Sep 6: Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Quanzhou, Putian do not receive the following items:

      "Small, low, slow" aircraft, batteries, liquids, powder, chemical products, battery items (including mobile phones, notebooks, IPad), magnetic items, whether or not there are "non-dangerous proof" issued by Dangerous Goods Management (DGM) and other authorities.

Please note that the above services are subject to changes in the government’s policy and will be adjusted accordingly at any time.

South China New Pre-clearance Service Launch

In order to provide you with better service, FedEx China will launch a new pre-clearance service for all South China (SCN) inbound shipments cleared in Guangzhou gateway effective January 4, 2017. With the new service, shippers who provide the required documentation before shipment’s arrival will enjoy an early customs declaration process, which will help you reduce the risk of customs delay.
