International express shipments

In order to proceed with your shipments, please consider the following points:

Paperwork for your international express shipment will be prepared on-site at our stand. Please have this information handy.
Payment options: your FedEx account number, Cash or Credit Card
For shipments that have been cleared for import by FedEx, you can call FedEx for pick-up at 01803 123 800*.

For shipments that have been cleared by a Trade Fair Broker, please contact the broker for pick-up and export clearance.

*9 cents per minute from a German landline. Mobile rates may vary with max. 42 cents per minute.

Customs Clearance, Tracking and More

We are happy to take care of your international express arriving at Medica.
In order to proceed with your shipments, please consider the points below.

Customs Clearance

Brochures may be imported Duty & Tax free, provided that the following appears on the invoice:
– The words "Medica free handouts"
– The name of the receiving company with hall & stand number.
Small Dutiables – valued less than EUR 22 may be imported Duty & Tax free.
Shipments valued less than USD 1,000 are more efficient and preferable because documentation is simpler and faster.
High Value Dutiables – valued greater than EUR 22 / USD 32

For all import shipments please provide the following:

Complete and correct delivery address on the AWB; including exhibitor name, hall and stand number
Valid phone number, so we may contact you prior to arrival of freight
Sufficient description of goods and any Customs Tariff Code on AWB or Invoice
Invoice must mention that this is a Trade Fair shipment for Medica.

Deliveries at the fairground
We will deliver directly to the fairground.
Please make sure that a representative from your company is present at the exhibitor stand on the scheduled delivery day.
In case you request a later or specific delivery day, please contact your local customer service and indicate the desired delivery day for the shipment.

Deliveries to hotels or private addresses
If you request this option, you must provide the exhibitor name, hall and stand number on the commercial invoice.
We need the data for Customs clearance and also in case the delivery address of the stand is changed.

Tracking and More
