Printable Version Fraudulent email

We are aware of the fraudulent email currently circulating, which appears to be a legitimate message from FedEx, containing instructions to open an attached.exe file in order to receive a shipment.

This email has not been sent by FedEx, and to ensure the security of our customers and our own network, we never send .exe files.

We are advising customers and anyone who calls our customer service line to delete the email immediately without attempting to open the attachment, which may release a virus into that person’s computer.
