My day starts when the sun rises. There’s no such thing as a snooze button. Training is varied because I need to find that balance of power, endurance and agility. But it’s always intense. Weight training to improve my serve and groundstrokes, sprint training to improve my speed around the court, sports massage when my body is aching from it all. And if I wake up the next day, unsure if I can do it all again? I just imagine falling to my knees after hitting the winning shot in the final of my next tournament.

The French Tennis Open at Roland-Garros is one of the highlights of the world tennis calendar and FedEx is delighted to continue its sponsorship of this prestigious event. Held at the historic Roland- Garros stadium in Paris, the French Tennis Open played on the famous red clay courts is one of the most challenging of the four ‘Grand Slams’ in tennis.
