Attention Shippers of Temperature-Sensitive Materials: New IATA Label Announcement

The IATA Time and Temperature Sensitive Label for healthcare products will be mandatory July 1, 2012. The label has been designed to suit the varying needs of all parties who handle or participate in shipping cold chain healthcare products. It gives clear instruction to all personnel regarding how the package or shipment must be handled and stored. FedEx will continue to accept all your time- and temperature-sensitive shipments even if this label is not attached, but we encourage you to use the label with the appropriate service and/or the established SOP/SLA.
