Through the use of our dedicated FedEx Project Team we believe we can continue to offer, as much as possible, a ‘business as usual’ service over this exciting time.
We are pleased to announce that FedEx will not be imposing any additional surcharges in connection with any deliveries that may be affected by the Games this summer. However there are some areas of our service where we have had to make changes.
Collection Times
Some of our collection times will be changing quite significantly to allow for increased security checks and traffic on the roads. Please visit here to find out more or speak to your local courier or local depot/station.
Delivery Restrictions
Information regarding which postcodes are impacted by road races and venues is available online to help you understand the impact of the Games at a local level day by day.
Extended opening hours
We are pleased to announce extended opening times in many of our depots/stations to help give you greater flexibility to manage any drop offs or collections you may have.
Money Back Guarantee
Our Money Back Guarantee is still valid in most of the UK, with the exceptions being identified postcodes in Greater London and Weymouth areas. You can find out which postcodes are not covered by checking online.

- With the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics only a matter of months away excitement is already building across the world ahead of the Games this summer.
At FedEx we are looking at the operational challenge posed by the Games from both a domestic and international perspective keeping up to date with the requirements of the Department of Transport and LOCOG. - The 2012 Olympic Games will be held from 27 July to the 12 Aug 2012, followed by the Paralympic Games from 29 Aug to the 9 Sept 2012. In the run up to and during that time, the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA), a division of Transport for London (TfL) will implement a series of measures which may impact the delivery and collection of shipments.
FedEx has established an Olympic project team to work with the appropriate authorities, to establish contingency plans and to comply with all relevant regulations. The project team will work to ensure FedEx is providing the best possible service it can to customers in light of any new measures implemented.Please be assured that FedEx is committed to providing the best possible service to ensure your shipments are delivered safely and on time.To ensure disruptions to FedEx services are kept at a minimum prior to, and during the games, FedEx will provide timely communications regarding additional regulations, security measures and service changes.
