Printable Version Maximum Declared Value for Extraordinary Value Items increased to $1,000

With effect from January 5th 2009 the maximum declared value for extraordinary value items (e.g. artwork, plasma screens and similar goods) has been increased to $1,000. This change applies to all FedEx Express shipments.

This new $1,000 ceiling has been set in line with our continuing objective to improve and simplify our customers’ documentation requirements wherever possible.
