FedEx has been ranked number one for customer satisfaction in the express delivery industry as well as heading the complete list of eighty-one leading companies whose customers’ views were surveyed in the latest University of Michigan's American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI).
The ACSI survey is produced by the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business in partnership with the American Society for Quality and the CFI Group and is also supported in part by ForeSee Results. It measures customer satisfaction with the quality of products and services provided by companies operating in the utilities, transportation and warehousing, information, health care and social assistance, accommodation and food services sectors, and its results, updated every quarter, are derived from scores given for about 200 companies in forty-four different industry groups, plus key government agencies.
It is also the only national, cross-industry measure of household consumers’ expectations ranked according to the quality and value of services products provided and the intention of respondents to re-purchase.
