Extension of Validity Period of Comprehensive Licence (Textiles)
On October 31, 2005, the Director-General of Trade and Industry has announced to extend the validity period of those Comprehensive Licences (CL) which are due to expire between December 2005 and February 2006 by two calendar months under a special and exceptional arrangement. However, Comprehensive Licences with expiry date falling on or after 1 March 2006 are not subject to this special arrangement.
The Trade and Industry department will send a notice with further details about this special arrangement separately and individually to holders of Comprehensive Licence with expiry dates falling between December 31, 2005 and February 28, 2006, upon login of their CL Account under the E-services page: http://www.tid.gov.hk/service/ie/jsp/IE_Gen_eService_e.jsp.
