Renewal of Your “Known Consignor” Registration
The Hong Kong SAR Government introduced an air cargo regulation on March 1, 2000, designed to strengthen the security controls for air cargo in Hong Kong. Based on the Regulated Agent Regime, airlines are required to apply security control measures on consignments of cargo received from shippers who are not registered as a Known Consignor.
The Known Consignor registration is valid for 3 years. If your registration has expired or will expire soon, please click here to download the Known Consignor Aviation Security Declaration form (Government endorsed) and after completion return it to FedEx for renewal. This will ensure that there are no unnecessary delays to your shipments.
For your convenience, your Known Consignor Code is identical to your existing FedEx Account Number. That is, if your FedEx Account Number is 123456789, your Known Consignor Code is also 123456789.
Timely submission of the form is essential. Please fax your completed declaration form to FedEx at 2190.7665.
