FedEx launches “True Heart Ambassador” Program

Motivating frontline employees to service excellence through a "Live to Deliver" spirit

HONG KONG, Sept 24, 2003 -FedEx Express (FedEx), the world’s largest express transportation company, today announced the launch of its "True Heart Ambassador" program that will see customers vote for their best FedEx employees. Voters will be automatically enrolled in special lucky draws to win travel coupons, digital cameras and other fabulous prizes.

FedEx's initiatives underscore the objective of providing better express service for customers. The "True Heart Ambassador" program aims at recognizing outstanding employees through collecting customers' comments on their performance, so as to encourage them to reach higher standards. The program will spread over a 9-month period, and all couriers, customer service representatives, trade service representatives and revenue operations agents are eligible for the program. After calculating customers' votes and conducting internal reviews, FedEx will select the "True Heart Ambassadors" from the above workgroups on a quarterly basis. The selected ambassadors will be acknowledged with various rewards, including receiving travel coupons and a plaque.

Customers only need to visit www.fedex.com/hk to cast a vote. All votes will be included in FedEx's quarterly draws for the voters to win a range of fabulous prizes, including travel coupons and digital cameras.

The voting results of the "True Heart Ambassador" program will be announced on FedEx's Hong Kong website and the customer newsletter "FedEx News". Letters will be issued to the lucky draw winners to provide details of prize collection.
