Essential Information 1. In general, the value of consignment is unlimited. 2. Consignment is subject to Quota control. 3. The US importer's Employer's Identification Number (EIN) should be printed clearly on both the FedEx Air Waybill and Commercial Invoice to avoid delays in customs clearance. 4. Clearance time will usually take 24 to 48 hours from Monday to Friday, except holidays, as U.S. Customs will need to perform quota checking between the U.S. Port of Entry and the computer database of the U.S. Department of Treasury. |
