Printable Version New Timisoara services will benefit trade links with Western Romania

FedEx International Priority® service to and from Timisoara in Romania will be substantially enhanced with effect from September, allowing exporters from Europe, the US and Asia to benefit from reduced transit times, following significant operational improvements.

Exports from most European markets will now arrive in Timisoara on the next-day, while consignments from the US will arrive within two days. Additionally, those shipped fromfrom key business centers in Asia such as Hong Kong, Singapore or Shanghai  will arrive within three days. 

Later this year we will additionally provide improved transit times for all heavy inbound and outbound services to meet the growing needs of our customers in Western Romania. Timisoara is one of the country’s key economic and industrial centres, and Romania itself - with a GDP increase of almost 8% in 2008 - is one of Eastern Europe’s most dynamic emerging markets.
