Printer-Friendly Green Industries Trade Mission to Europe Itinerary

Saturday, April 10 (or before): Depart the U.S. and Arrive in Paris
  • Flights from the U.S. arrive in Paris.
  • Plan to arrive a day early to give yourself time to adjust to the time zone change and enjoy the food, sights and entertainment that Paris has to offer.
Sunday, April 11: Opening Gathering in Paris
  • The mission begins! Attend a dinner to get to know your fellow mission delegates and to review the itinerary and logistics.
  • Take advantage of opportunities to attend educational sessions, business climate discussions and networking opportunities with business and government officials.
Monday, April 12: Paris Conference
  • Join a U.S. Commercial Service-led conference that showcases American solutions and offerings in the green/sustainable industry sectors.
  • Continue to take advantage of networking, media and educational opportunities.
Tuesday, April 13: Travel and Country One
  • The morning is travel to your first mission country.
  • Participate in meetings with key business contacts, U.S. executives already successfully operating in the country, government officials, trade specialists and others.
  • Meet one-on-one with potential business partners, distributors, agents or buyers through appointments scheduled in advance with prescreened business contacts.
Wednesday, April 14: Country One
  • Today is a continuation of the previous day’s activities.
  • Be sure to enjoy some of the sights, sounds and cultural offerings of your first mission country.
Thursday, April 15: Travel and Country Two
  • The morning is travel to your second mission country.
  • Participate in meetings with key business contacts, U.S. executives already successfully operating in the country, government officials, trade specialists and others.
  • Meet one-on-one with potential business partners, distributors, agents or buyers through appointments scheduled in advance with prescreened business contacts.
Friday, April 16: Country Two
  • Today is a continuation of the previous day’s activities.
  • Be sure to enjoy some of the sights, sounds and cultural offerings of your second mission country.
Saturday, April 17 (and after): Depart for the U.S. or Expand Your Visit
  • The mission ends with the conclusion of the Friday activities.
  • From here, you may choose to travel back to the U.S., stay on for vacation, participate in the Hannover Messe in Hannover, Germany, or continue with other matchmaking activities in another European country or countries through the U.S. Commercial Service Gold Key Matching Service.
