Declaration for Certain Shipments Imported via Shenzhen
With effect from May 1, 2011, China Inspection and Quarantine (CIQ) implemented a ruling requiring the declaration of certain shipments imported via Shenzhen airport to southern China.
The items affected are listed below. Details of the process and documentation required for declaration can be found by visiting the Shenzhen CIQ website (only Chinese version is available):
- Animal and Plant Products

Please note that shipments which do not meet the requirements of the declaration will be returned to the shipper. Abandonment of shipments is not permitted by Shenzhen CIQ. To avoid any customs delays, please take note of this new requirement when you prepare the necessary documents for your shipments.
