Korea Tightens Scrutiny of Shipments Valued at less than US$100
From October 1, Korean customs will strictly screen non-dutiable shipments with a value of less than US$100. To avoid delays in customs clearance and delivery of such shipments in Korea, shippers are required to provide a full and accurate product description on the air waybill.
You are therefore advised to inform your overseas shippers to provide a detailed description of the goods, including the quantity and size of each item, under the Shipment Information section of the air waybill when they send shipments with a value of less than US$100 to Korea.
Should you have any questions about this, please contact FedEx Customer Service on 080 023 8000.
