With effect from January customers who ship lithium batteries with FedEx Express must comply with the relevant requirements of changes made to the ATA/ICAO dangerous goods regulations. These regulatory changes will affect both lithium metal (also known as primary non-rechargeable) and lithium ion (rechargeable) batteries.
