Printable Version International Shipments to the Beijing Olympics

The Olympics is the greatest sporting event on earth and the logistical needs are enormous.  There is likely to be some effect on our normal business operations in China during the period of the Games, which run from 8-24 August 2008.

If you are sending a shipment to China for the Beijing Olympic Games please make sure that you describe it accordingly on the documentation.

Either the shipper or the consignee will need to submit to the customs authorities a document to prove that the goods are related to the Olympics.  You should also enter clearly on the Air Waybill and Commercial Invoice that the goods are ‘For Olympic Use.'
