FedEx Express has received the AEOF certificate in Belgium. Through this certificate FedEx Express is acknowledged as a reliable company with the status of a ´secure´ trade partner within the logistic chain. It proves that FedEx Express has taken all necessary precautions to ensure secure transportation of goods.

Three different certificates exist:

• The full AEO certificate (AEOF, consisting of the two following certificates)
• AEO certificate – customs simplification (AEOC)

In Belgium FedEx Express received the full AEO certificate (AEOF).

The certificate offers FedEx Express Belgium a number of important advantages. The company can for instance plan shipments more accurately and keep customs delays to a minimum. This way the company can streamline the entire shipping process.

FedEx Express Belgium received the AEOF certificate because it has proven to comply with customs requirements and performs superbly in the field of safety standards, risk management and financial solvency.

The AEO certificate is based on the SAFE standards for world trade, which have been formulated by the World Customs Organization.
