AUSTRALIA: Australian Business Number

Fast Customs clearance is as simple as A-B-N!

FedEx needs your Australian Business Number (ABN) printed clearly on all Commercial Invoices to help ensure fast customs clearance today and in the future. If you are expecting a shipment from outside of Australia, make sure the shipper also prints your ABN on the Commercial Invoice.

When completing a Commercial Invoice you can help to ensure a smooth, and delay-free Customs clearance by remembering to include the following information:

  1. Your Australian Business Number (ABN) (For Australian shippers or recipients only)
  2. Detailed description of what's in the package, what the contents are made of, and what they're used for.
  3. The quantity and unit price of each item, and in the currency used
  4. The address for both shipper and recipient (PO Boxes are not accepted).
