Fast Customs clearance is as simple as A-B-N!
FedEx needs your Australian Business Number (ABN) printed clearly on all Commercial Invoices to help ensure fast customs clearance today and in the future. If you are expecting a shipment from outside of Australia, make sure the shipper also prints your ABN on the Commercial Invoice.
When completing a Commercial Invoice you can help to ensure a smooth, and delay-free Customs clearance by remembering to include the following information:
- Your Australian Business Number (ABN) (For Australian shippers or recipients only)
- Detailed description of what's in the package, what the contents are made of, and what they're used for.
- The quantity and unit price of each item, and in the currency used
- The address for both shipper and recipient (PO Boxes are not accepted).
