Korea Tightens Scrutiny of Shipments Valued at less than US$100

Effective July 1, Korean customs will strictly screen non-dutiable shipments with a value of less than US$100. To avoid delays in customs clearance and delivery of such shipments, shippers are required to provide a full and accurate consignee information and product description on the air waybill, including:

1.      Detailed description of commodity and specification
2.      Commodity value
3.      Consignee name and address 
4.      Quantity of commodity
