November 28, 2005 Australia: Revised Customs Entry Fee - For Imports
As of Nov 14, 2005, Australian Customs Service (ACS) announced that standard entry fee has increased from AU$36.60 ($30.10 Import declaration fee and $6.50 AQIS entry fee) to AU$44.10 ($30.10 Import declartion fee & $14.00 AQIS entry fee) for imports which are AU$1,000 or above. The standard entry fee will be on top of GST, Duty and/or WET applied to the imported goods.
