KUALA LUMPUR, November 20, 2003 - FedEx Express (FedEx), the world's largest express transportation company, today launched a new service partnership with Kodak, to provide local shippers in the Klang Valley with more choice and convenience when sending their packages overseas.
The new FedEx Authorised ShipCentres (FASCs) mean that customers can drop off their shipments at selected Kodak stores from Mondays to Fridays, and before 3p.m. on Saturdays. Packages dropped off before 3.30 p.m. from Mondays to Fridays and before 12.00 p.m. on Saturdays will be uplifted the same day.
"FedEx Authorised ShipCenters offer the convenience of FedEx locations in areas such as the Klang Valley, which includes Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and its outer areas, and a discount to customers who drop packages there. With the enhanced service, customers will be able to balance speed and time definite delivery in ways that suit their needs. They will also be able to pick up their packages from the Kodak stores, if they choose to." said Lily Tay, Managing Director, FedEx Malaysia.

The partnership with Kodak follows a successful relationship with Petronas, who currently offer FedEx shipping services in 61 outlets across the nation, and MBE, who offers FedEx services at its sole location at Desa Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur.
