‘Ship with FedEx Express’ Grand Prize Winner announced

Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA 18 December, 2003 – Lily Tay, Managing Director of FedEx Express (FedEx) Malaysia and Brunei, the world’s largest express transportation company today presented Cik Mazian Hj. Muhammad of High Progress Machinery Sdn Bhd with the grand prize of the recent ‘Ship with FedEx Express’ competition.

Run exclusively in Malaysia, the ‘Ship With FedEx Express’ promotion rewarded outbound shippers who sent shipments in 10kg and 25kg boxes to anywhere in the world via the FedEx Express global network from 1 July to 31 August 2003. Apart from the grand prize of a Swatch watch, prizes for other contestants included FedEx notepads and postcards.

“I was very surprised and could hardly believe it when I found out I won an exclusive Swatch watch” said Cik Mazian. “I immediately called FedEx to double check if I was really the winner”.

“I’m delighted to be able to present Cik Mazian with this prize, as I get to meet an example of the customer that our staff meet and serve, each and every day” said Lily Tay, FedEx Express Managing Director of Malaysia and Brunei.

According to Cik Mazian, her company sends regular monthly shipments to Japan. “We have been utilizing the services of FedEx for the 10kg and 25kg shipments for Japan because of the competitive rates and service provided.”
