FedEx AsiaOne® Competition Winner Presented with Grand Prize Holiday & Compact Camera

KUALA LUMPUR, March 3, 2004 – When Rina Chan, an IT and Administration executive from Towers Perrin heads off on a well-deserved holiday, as a result of winning the FedEx AsiaOne® promotion grand prize, she will also be able to capture the happy moments with a compact camera, thanks to FedEx Express (FedEx), the world’s largest express transportation company.

Lily Tay, Managing Director of FedEx Malaysia and Brunei, presented Ms Chan with both her prize of a RM1,600 travel voucher for two and a compact camera at the FedEx head office.

Run exclusively in Malaysia, the FedEx promotion rewarded customers who sent shipments to any destination within the AsiaOne® Network. In addition to the grand prize of a travel voucher and camera, runners-up received FedEx caps and exclusive FedEx watches.

“I found out about the competition from the FedEx website and I was keeping my fingers crossed that I would be able to win something. So it was a great thrill and surprise to be informed that I had actually won the grand prize.” Said Ms Chan. Although her holiday plans are not finalized as yet, Ms Chan is looking forward to a well-deserved break.

According to Ms Chan, her company regularly ships documents and parcels to Asian including Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore. “FedEx rates are very competitive and the service is very reliable”.
