Lower taxes on shipments to Australia

Good news for shippers to Down Under. Following changes to their new customs import processing system on 12 October 2005, taxes on shipments to Australia have been reduced.  The threshold has been raised from AU$ 250 (around EUR 157) per shipment to AU$ 1000.00 (approximately EUR 628). No taxes below this threshold is good news in itself, but it also means that many of your FedEx shipments will now reach their destination quicker.
