NEW FedEx Personal Shipper Account

The FedEx Personal Shipper Account will be launched in New Zealand on September 14, 2009. In the past, individual customers needed to provide a Business Registration Number to open an account with FedEx.

The introduction of the Personal Shipper Account means that individual customers can now open a FedEx account, without providing a Business Registration Number. Customers will need to provide valid credit card details to send shipments using their FedEx account. Once the shipment has been made, the nominated credit card will be auto-debited within a few days.

Customers that have a Personal Shipper Account with FedEx will have access to our FedEx Ship Manager and FedEx Billing Online services.

Companies and organisations will still need to provide their Business Registration Number. The Personal Shipper Account is applicable to individual customers only.

You can set-up a Personal Shipper Account by filling out a form at any FedEx World Service Centre, or by calling the Customer Service hotline on 0800 733 339.
