Please have your American Express OPEN Business Card handy when you call. Can I use my existing FedEx account to access the FedEx Program discount? Yes. You can enroll your existing FedEx account to get the additional FedEx Program discount. Call 1.800.231.8636 to link your account to your American Express OPEN Business Card. What are some of the resources American Express provides to small businesses? OPEN from American Express provides a variety of financing products and tools to its Cardmembers with unique features and benefits such as Membership Rewards® points (enrollment may be required), expense management reports and travel-booking services. Which services are discounted at FedEx Office with the OPEN Savings® program? The discount applies to all products and business services available at FedEx Office Print & Ship CentersSM and online at fedex.com, including copying and printing, signs and banners, office supplies, business and document services, digital photo services, and more. Please note that the discount does not apply to online office-supply purchases made through officeproducts.fedexkinkos.com or where FedEx Office is not the merchant of record. How does the OPEN Savings® program work with my other FedEx discounts? The 5% OPEN Savings discount is in addition to any discount or special pricing you may already be getting from FedEx. How will I know I received my OPEN Savings® discount? The American Express OPEN Savings discounts will appear on your American Express® statement as a credit. At the end of every Card statement is a summary grid that shows how much you have saved year to date through the OPEN Savings program. Will I receive my OPEN Savings® discount without a FedEx account number? Yes. Because you are a valued American Express OPEN Business Cardmember, your 5% OPEN Savings discount will appear automatically on your Card statement. However, you must enroll in the FedEx Program in order to enjoy the additional FedEx Program discounts. Will I receive my OPEN Savings® FedEx Office discount when I order online? Yes. The discount applies to all products and services available online at fedex.com, including copying and printing, signs and banners, office supplies, business and document services, digital photo services, and more. The discount does not apply to online office-supply purchases made through officeproducts.fedexkinkos.com or where FedEx Office is not the merchant of record. Do any minimum requirements apply? No minimums are required to earn the discounts. Are there any other limits or restrictions that apply? Yes, the OPEN Savings® discount is capped at the maximum annual discount of $1,000 per American Express OPEN Business Card account. Which FedEx OfficeSM services are discounted with the FedEx Program? Most FedEx Office products and business services are eligible for FedEx Program discounts, including black & white and color printing and copying services, signs and graphics production, finishing services, and more. The following FedEx Office services are not eligible for discounts: outsourced products or services, office supplies, notary services, shipping services, ink jet cartridges, videoconferencing services, equipment rental, conference room rental, Sony® Picture StationTM purchases, gift certificates, specialty papers, custom calendars, holiday promotion greeting cards, or postage. Discounts on custom-bid orders; sale items; orders required to be completed in less than 24 hours; or special offers, promotions or coupons are at the discretion of each FedEx Office location. Services and hours of operation may vary by FedEx Office location. Discounts shall not apply to any services provided by FedEx Office locations in hotels, convention centers or other nonretail locations. FedEx Office will provide American Express OPEN Business Cardmembers with FedEx Office account numbers to identify the Cardmember's participation in this discount program, and Cardmembers will pay in full for all services under this Agreement at the point of sale at the time of purchase using cash, check, credit card or other form of payment accepted at the eligible location. Is the FedEx Program discount combinable with other special FedEx discounts or offers? The additional FedEx Program discounts are developed exclusively for American Express OPEN Business Cardmembers and cannot be combined with other special FedEx discounts or offers.

How long does the FedEx discount apply? As long as you pay for your eligible FedEx® shipments with an American Express OPEN Business Card, the FedEx Program discount will be effective until further notice from FedEx via an e-mail notice, posting on fedex.com or other notification. Will I receive my FedEx Program discount when I ship online? Yes. Process shipments online using FedEx Ship Manager® at fedex.com and save an additional 5% when you ship eligible FedEx Express® shipments. Top Shipping Services Once I have a FedEx account, how do I start shipping and saving? It’s easy. Process your shipments online using FedEx Ship Manager® at fedex.com, then drop them off at a staffed FedEx location. You can also drop off your express shipments at a FedEx Express® Drop Box. Your discounts are automatically applied once your FedEx account is linked to your American Express OPEN Business Card. With FedEx Ship Manager at fedex.com, you can process FedEx Express®, FedEx Ground® and FedEx Home Delivery® shipments in just minutes, 24 hours a day, right from your computer. I’ve never shipped online at fedex.com. What’s the benefit? By registering online for FedEx Ship Manager® at fedex.com, you can process FedEx Express®, FedEx Ground® and FedEx Home Delivery® shipments in just minutes, 24 hours a day, right from your computer. Plus, by enrolling in the FedEx Program, you can receive an extra 5% off eligible express shipments when you ship at fedex.com. The discounts will be applied automatically once your FedEx account is linked to your American Express OPEN Business Card. Will all shipments go to my American Express OPEN Business Card automatically, including the ones that are not processed using FedEx Ship Manager® at fedex.com? Yes. All shipments from a FedEx account linked to an American Express OPEN Business Card will be billed to the American Express OPEN Business Card, and all eligible services will receive the 5% OPEN Savings® discount from American Express. Top Business and Document Services What is the difference between the FedEx and the FedEx Office discount? The FedEx discount applies to select FedEx Express® and FedEx Ground® services. The FedEx Office discount applies to all business services available at FedEx Office Print & Ship CentersSM in the U.S. Where is the FedEx Office discount available? The discount is available at all FedEx Office locations in the U.S. and through fedex.com, with the exception of office-supply purchases made through officeproducts.fedexkinkos.com or where FedEx Office is not the merchant of record. Not valid for services provided at FedEx Office Print & Ship CenterSM locations in hotels, convention centers and other nonretail locations. What if I already receive discounts at FedEx Office? Do I still receive the 5% OPEN Savings® discount? Yes, the OPEN Savings discount can be combined with any discounts or negotiated pricing that American Express® Cardmembers receive from FedEx Office and will appear as a credit on the American Express OPEN Business Card statement instead of the receipt. Do I need to enroll separately in order to receive the 5% OPEN Savings® discount at FedEx Office? No enrollment or account is required to receive the 5% OPEN Savings discount. Simply pay with your American Express OPEN Business Card and the savings will appear as a credit on your monthly billing statement instead of the receipt. Are there any other limits or restrictions that apply? The OPEN Savings® discount for FedEx Office is capped at the maximum annual discount of $1,000 per American Express OPEN Business Card. Top Billing Where can I find detailed information about my FedEx® shipments once the account is linked and I no longer receive detailed invoices? Once your FedEx account is linked, your FedEx charges will appear on your American Express OPEN Business Card statement to better assist you. You will no longer receive an invoice from FedEx; however, you can review your detailed account information using FedEx® Billing Online. Select View/Pay Bills Online from the Manage tab at fedex.com. Will I still get an itemized bill from FedEx after linking my account to the American Express OPEN Business Card? No. Once the American Express OPEN Business Card is linked to the FedEx account, FedEx shipping invoices will end, and charges will appear only on your American Express OPEN Business Card monthly statement. How will FedEx shipping charges look on the American Express OPEN Business Card statement? The American Express OPEN Business Card statement will provide a summary of information that was available on your itemized FedEx invoice. The Card statement data will include:
I paid my invoice using my American Express OPEN Business Card, but did not receive the OPEN Savings® discount. Why? Invoiced billing is not eligible for the OPEN Savings discount. Occasionally, invoiced billing will appear on your Card statement as “FedEx Pay-by-Phone”; this charge is also ineligible for the discount. To receive the OPEN Savings discount, eligible FedEx and FedEx Office purchases must be billed directly to the Business Card or to a FedEx account number linked to the Card. Can the American Express OPEN Business Card be unlinked from my FedEx account? Yes. The American Express Business Card can be unlinked from the FedEx account at any time, and you will begin receiving FedEx invoices again. However if the card is unlinked, the FedEx Program discounts will no longer apply. Also, FedEx invoices paid with an American Express OPEN Business Card are ineligible for the OPEN Savings® discount. |
