  • City and state/province or country such as Collierville or Collierville, TN, or Berlin, Germany.

What if I don’t have an exact From or To location?
A city or ZIP/postal code will be enough to provide you with rates and transit times. If you enter a city or zip/postal code without additional location information, you will be shown a dropdown list of matching cities to choose from.

What if my exact address is not found?
If you enter an invalid address, try using just the city or ZIP/postal code to get rates and transit times. As you type in the From and To fields, you will be shown a dropdown list of possible matches. If you enter a ZIP/postal code where FedEx does not provide service, you will see an error message. Upon selection of a valid entry a checkbox will appear next to From and To

Enter Weight

Why do I need to enter a weight?
The FedEx Standard Rate quote you receive is based in part on package weight. For additional information on how shipping charges are calculated, please refer to the FedEx Service Guide at fedex.com.

I entered a weight over 68 kg/150 lbs. Why did I get an error message?
FedEx Express packages are limited to 68kg/150 lbs. or less. For heavier shipments, get an advanced rate by visiting the Get Rates & Transit Times tool.

Note: When the dimensional weight of a shipment exceeds the actual weight, shipping charges are based on the shipment's dimensional weight. Please refer to the Service Guide for additional information on dimensional weight.

What if I get the weight wrong?
A staffed FedEx location can assist you in weighing your package accurately. Any disparities between entered and actual data for your shipment may affect the availability of different service options and may result in a different delivery time, date, and price.

How do I select a Package Type?
Scroll from side to side to select a package type and proceed to get a rate.

Note: If your shipment is US-US location you will have additional FedEx One Rate Pricing Option. See Service Guide for additional Pricing Option information.

Select Your Desired Rate

What do the displayed rates, dates/times and services mean?
The Results table displays the estimated delivery date/time and estimated rate for each service available for your shipment. Results are arranged starting with the first available delivery date/time.

How do I select a rate?
Hover over the service name you want to use and "Select" option appears.

If I selected FedEx One Rate. How do I choose a different package type?
If you chose FedEx One Rate, you can choose a different package type by clicking Get another quick rate. This will return you to the beginning of the Get a Quick Rate module.

Will my rate be the same if I ship on another day?
The rates and times shown are based on a shipment leaving today. Rates and times are valid only if your shipment is prepared and provided to FedEx by the latest published cut-off time for today in your origin city. To view rates and times for shipments leaving tomorrow or another future date, get an advanced rate by visiting the Get Rates & Transit Times tool.

How do I view my account-specific rates?
To receive account-specific rates, you must be logged in to fedex.com. To log in:
  • Click the Login link next to the Help menu. Enter your fedex.com User ID and Password to login.

For my international shipment, do the displayed rates apply to documents or products?
For international shipments, the displayed rates and transit times are based on a document shipment containing a personal or business letter with no commercial value. Annual reports, brochures, and newspapers are among a variety of documents deemed by some governments to have a commercial value. If your shipment contains products or documents with a commercial or customs value, they are considered to be commodities by customs and may require additional import and/or export clearance time and documentation. To get rates for such shipments, consult the Get Rates & Transit Times tool and select “Get detailed quote.” The distinction between documents and products does not apply to shipments within the US.

When I ship, will I pay exactly the rate shown here?
Rates quoted here may be different than the actual charges for your shipment. Differences may occur based on actual weight, dimensions, currency conversion rate, other surcharges and taxes. Consult the applicable FedEx Service Guide for details.

When I ship, will I get the exact delivery date/time and service option that I select here?
The service options and delivery dates/times shown here assume there are no clearance delays and are dependent on the ship date, weight, dimensions, declared value, goods descriptions, packaging, and/or address entered for your shipment. Rates and times are valid only if your shipment is prepared and provided to FedEx by the latest published cut-off time for today. Any disparities between entered and actual data for your shipment may affect the availability of different service options and may result in a different delivery time and date. Please make sure your shipment meets the terms and conditions of the service you have requested. In the event of a conflict between the FedEx Service Guide and the transit time shown in the Get a Quick Rate module, the terms and conditions in the FedEx Service Guide will prevail.

What if my shipment needs special handling?
If you need a rate/transit time for a service with special handling options such as Hold at FedEx Location or Signature Required, please consult the Get Rates & Transit Times tool and select “Get detailed quote.” Special handling options include:

For my international shipment, are VAT and other duties, surcharges and taxes included in the estimated rate?

Other duties, surcharges and taxes are not included in the estimated rate. To include estimated duties and taxes, get an advanced rate by visiting the Get Rates & Transit Times tool.
