Korea Tightens Scrutiny of Shipments Valued at less than US$100

From October 1, Korean customs will strictly screen non-dutiable shipments with a value of less than US$100. To avoid delays in customs clearance and delivery of such shipments, shippers are required to provide a full and accurate product description on the air waybill.

Shippers should also provide the quantity and the size of each item under the Shipment Information section of the air waybill when sending shipments with a value of less than US$100 to Korea.
