New Regulation for CCC Import Certification in China
To streamline the import certification process, effective immediately the China Inspection and Quarantine Bureau no longer requires the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) for the following items:
1. Personal effects excluding items purchased outside of China but to be collected in mainland China and items sent by mail into China.
2. Aid and donations from foreign governments, excluding items purchased in mainland China with funds from foreign governments.
The CCC rules for all other items remain unchanged. All samples for the CCC tests should carry the label “Official Certification Sample Item”.
Items that require certification and do not carry the required documents, including personal mail packages, will be returned to their point of origin or disposed of.
