August, 2004 Brazil - Biological Shipments Embargo
Due to a new Health Ministry Regulation in Brazil, effective immediately Brazil is on a temporary embargo for INBOUND shipments requiring the Brazilian Health Department Clearance. Suspended commodities are, but not limited to:
- Biological Food Fragrances Essences Cosmetics Cleaning Products
- Pharmaceutical chemical components Medication Diagnostic Kits Hospital or Laboratory accessory items
Important Notes:
- This embargo does NOT apply for these commodities if the shipment is
- destined to individuals for personal use;
- This embargo remains in effect until further notice.
