Improved Transit Times to Greater Tokyo areas (Western Tokyo, Kanagawa and Saitama)
We are delighted to share the latest news about improvements to our service into the Greater Tokyo Area.
With effect from April 5, 2010, the transit time for inbound shipments by International Priority (IP) or International Economy (IE), from all origins to the following cities/wards in the greater Tokyo area will be reduced by one business day:
Western Tokyo
- Akishima, Tachikawa, Hachioji, Tama, Hino and Fuchu cities.
Kanagawa prefecture
- Yokohama city: Kanazawa, Kanagawa, Kohoku, Naka, Nishi and Tsuzuki-ku
- Kawasaki city: Nakahara, Kawasaki and Saiwai-ku
Saitama Prefecture
- Saitama city: Urawa, Ohmiya, Kita, Sakura, Chuo, Nishi, Midori, Minami and Minuma-ku
- Kawaguchi city and Hatogaya-city
As a result, inbound shipments to the above destinations will be delivered on the same day that they arrive at Narita International Airport.
