FedEx Continues to "grab'em"

Extends "We-Live-To-Deliver" Advertising Campaign

HONG KONG, March 5, 2003 - FedEx Express (FedEx), the world's largest express transportation company, has launched a new television advertising campaign to reinforce FedEx's "We-Live-To-Deliver" customer service spirit.

"Our last TV commercial was so successful in conveying the FedEx "Can do" spirit that many people have told us they associate the characteristics of 'Sammy' and 'Chris' with the FedEx couriers who deliver their shipments everyday," explained Malcolm Sullivan, Managing Director, Marketing, FedEx China and Mid Pacific. 'Jenny' is the next installment in the series. Jenny's story extends our message about FedEx's culture of excellence, dedication and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers," said Mr. Sullivan.

This campaign grew out of FedEx's People-Service-Profit philosophy by which the company hires and develops outstanding people to provide superior service to its customers. "FedEx is consistently ranked as one of the best companies in the world to work for. Saying our employees are our most valuable resource is more than just rhetoric at FedEx. We truly depend on our frontline staff to deliver what we like to call the 'purple promise': that is, every day, doing whatever it takes to ensure our customers always have a satisfying experience," said Mr. Sullivan.

For two consecutive years, FedEx has been ranked among the top 10 of "America's Most Admired Companies" and "The World's Most Admired Companies" according to FORTUNE Magazine. In addition, we ranked 18th in Far Eastern Economic Review's "Review 200" survey in 2002. The new advertisement will run in Hong Kong and in rotation with the current two commercials throughout the Asia Pacific in 2003. The new FedEx 'We-Live-To-Deliver'
commercial was developed by BBDO/Guerrero Ortega and filmed on location in Sydney directed by David Denneen.

FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp., connects areas that generate 90% of the world's gross domestic product in 24-48 hours with door-to-door, customs-cleared service. The company's unmatched air route authorities and infrastructure make it the world's largest express transportation company, providing fast, reliable and time-definite transportation of more than 3.3 million items to 214 countries each working day. FedEx employs approximately 143,500 employees and has more than 48,800 drop-off locations, 640 aircraft and more than 45,000 vehicles in its integrated global network.
