Singapore, 24 December, 2003 – FedEx Express (FedEx), the world’s largest express transportation company, has been voted 17th for its service, performance and leadership in Asia by readers of the Far Eastern Economic Review and partner publications in the FEER REVIEW 200 survey. This is a step-up from FedEx’s ranking of 18th last year.
Conducted by ACNielsen (Hong Kong), the survey was based on overall leadership performance, high quality service and products, innovation in responding to customers, long-term vision, financial soundness and capacity to inspire others to emulate them.
The survey covered 153 multinational corporations and between 29 to 40 local companies in 12 Asian countries. The 2,806 respondents comprising executives and professionals were FEER subscribers and readers of partner publications including The Asian Wall Street Journal, CommonWealth of Taiwan, Han-Kyung Business Weekly of South Korea and chinese.wsj.com.

FedEx was also recently recognized in two separate publications for its overall strategic vision and the value of the FedEx brand.
Interbrand listed FedEx as part of its top 100 companies across the globe, in terms of brand value and global coverage.
In addition, the Wired ‘Top 40’ has listed FedEx for the fifth consecutive year as a company that is recognised as innovative, intelligent, with strategic vision, global reach and networked communications.
FedEx Express Singapore also continues to build on the company’s global successes, being named as one of the best employers in Singapore in the Hewitt Survey in 2003.
