E-Import Requirements on Inbound Shipments Now in Effect


The Royal Thai Customs Department’s paperless clearance system was extended to inbound shipments on January 1 this year at the following ports: Klong Yai; Janthaburi; Ranong; Buengkab; Mukdaharn; Pibulmungsaharn; Masai; Chiengsan; and, Su-ngikolok. Also, the new system will be introduced at Suvarnnabhumi Airport from April 1 onwards.


In order to meet the requirements of the new system, you must register for e-Customs with the Royal Thai Customs Department. You will also have to add FedEx Express and our main cartage agent, Wavetech Clearance Service Limited, as your brokers with the Royal Thai Customs Department.


To do this, please download a registration form from the Royal Thai Customs Department Web site at http://www.customs.go.th and type in all the following information:
