Bangkok, February 25, 2003 – FedEx Express (FedEx), the world’s largest express transportation company, today celebrated the launch of its new World Service Centre at Nana Square Shopping Centre on Sukhumvit Road, catering to customers in Bangkok’s central business district.
The new centre provides numerous benefits, including extended opening hours seven days a week, making it the first FedEx World Service Centre in Bangkok to provide services to customers on a Sunday, providing next day delivery to Asia on FedEx’s leading AsiaOne® Network.
Speaking at the Centre, Clifton Chua, Managing Director for FedEx Thailand, Philippines and Indochina said “FedEx has an enormous commitment to Thailand, and we will continue to grow our presence in the Kingdom, as our customer base continues to expand. The new Service Centre enhances our service to customers, particularly tourists and those businesses trading through the weekend.”

FedEx’s World Service Centre, located in the heart of the Sukhumvit Road business district, offers convenient access for customers and tourists seven days a week, with extended pick up and cut off times for customers. FedEx’s newest World Service Centre can be reached easily with access from the BTS skytrain, bus services or private transport, and is open from 10.30am to 10.30pm every day.

In addition, the newest service centre allows FedEx to respond to the growing demand from customers, providing fast and reliable solutions to increase business efficiency” continued Mr. Chua.
Including the new centre at Nana Square Shopping Centre, FedEx has eleven customer service centres throughout the Kingdom located in Bangkok, Chaing Mai, Lumpoon, Bangna, Laksi, Korat and Lam Chabang. FedEx has gateway operations at the Bangkok International Airport.
