Stay cautious about suspicious email requesting for personal information or additional funds
FedEx is committed to protecting our customers’ information and to deterring the attempted misuse of the FedEx brand.
The internet is an important channel connecting FedEx to our customers. While there is no foolproof method to prevent the unauthorized use of the FedEx name, we are constantly monitoring for such activity. Our Security department also works closely with authorities in any investigation involving illegal activities.
Customers should know that FedEx will not request them to verify or provide personal information in an email. Customers should not respond to any email requesting additional funds for package delivery as it is fraudulent.
We also recommend that customers not assume that items delivered through the FedEx network are legitimate, especially if the offer seems too good to be true-- such as winning the lottery.
