Customers to enjoy more speedy, reliable and time-definite service
Taiwan, July 26, 2005 -- FedEx Express, the world's largest express transportation company, today launched its same-day flight service for paper seal shipments* in the Kaohsiung Export Processing Zone (KEPZ), with a call-in, cut-off time of 4.00 p.m. The service provides customers with a delivery commitment up to 24 hours faster than was previously available.
"Dominated by the electronic and parts manufacturers, the KEPZ has contributed significantly to Taiwan's economy over the past 39 years. The launch of the same-day flight service enables manufacturers there to enjoy more speedy, reliable and time-definite access for global trade opportunities, which are important to the development of the Taiwan economy," said Scott Williams, Managing Director of FedEx Taiwan.
